About the Author . . .
Brad Igou, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has lived with the Amish and claims many Amish friends. He majored in sociology-anthropology at Ithaca College, has worked as a tour guide to Amish country, and is vice-president and co-owner of Amish Experience, a center interpreting Amish culture to visitors.
