Two bluebirds huddle on the feeder as a young boy and his sister watch. In the morning, the boy finds a dead bluebird. "Let's take it to the bird carver." From the bird carver, the children learn the lessons of patience. When at last the boy buries the bird, they share the wonder of a mystery: the bluebird lives!
