Distant Thunderby Ruth Nulton Moore |
Ruth Nulton Moore's story of intrigue, heroism, and self-sacrifice from 1777 to 1778, two of the most critical years of the Revolutionary War. Kate lives with her cousins, Johanna and Jacob Werner, and their three sons in the Moravian town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Congress orders the town to house prisoners of war, an army hospital, and supply wagons. Although the Moravians do not believe in war, they want to help their country in peaceful ways.
