About the Author
Mary Christner Borntrager, North Canton, Ohio, grew up in an Amish home. Later she was a social worker with emotionally disturbed children and youth and then became a popular author and speaker. Mary hopes her series, Ellie's People, will bring pleasure to many readers along with a better understanding of the Amish way of life.
