Let All Who Thirst
Hymns for Piano
Let All Who Thirst grew out of the joy Lucia Unrau and Peter Terry have experienced in sharing hymns with their family, friends, and church community. The title track, their first hymn adaptation, was written for the funeral of a mutual friend some years ago; it expressed in music "what is inexpressible in the language of speech," according to the two artists.
Let All Who Thirst highlights the importance of the hymn as a means of religious expression in Anabaptist denominations. The 14 hymns performed here are for use in times of celebration and in times of need and sadness.
