About the Author
Barry C. Bartel is president of Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. He previously worked as a lawyer in Denver, and served with his wife Brenda as country representatives for Mennonite Central Committee in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. They have two children, Jordan and Leah.
